The many benefits of creativity ...

Creativity helps the mind relax.
It allows personal expression and brings to light
talents of many sorts.

Crafting can take the form of working with a wide assortment of mediums, such as fabric, yarn, paints, wax, glass, paper, wood, metals, clay, beads, dried botanicals, rocks, sand, recycled materials, or a number of other materials that can be mixed together to form a piece of art for visual appreciation or practical use. Enjoyable, resourceful, thought provoking, and giving, working with your imagination and "hidden" talents allows for breathing space in your life, leaving you with a feeling of accomplishment from creative expression.

Creating new things for your home, family, or friends shares a little piece of yourself and adds to your life. If you have found yourself in a "dead end" where your creativity is concerned, there is no better time than the present to make a change and jump into something new! Your spirits will lift, you may lift the spirits of others, you will have fun all the while, and you may be amazed at what you can do. Sometimes, a little inspiration is all you need to get going!

This page will feature crafting links that we felt were thought provoking, inspiring, or a valuable tool in learning a craft. Some of the pages are blogs or instructional pages that are exceptional in quality and content. We hope you enjoy our findings, and as we gather more, we will be sharing them here!
